On Thursday, the 12th of September, some of our members volunteered at a local primary school as part of our Community Engagement initiative. We traveled to Tantyi Primary School where we conducted fun literacy-based group work activities with grade 5 and 6 learners.
It has been one of InkSoc’s goals to be active within our community, as we hope to inspire those around us and promote creative writing and expression.
We had a great time connecting with the learners, and for this we are thankful to Ms. Priscilla Glover for affording us the opportunity to work with her school, thus helping us to achieve our goal. We look forward to the future where we hope to continue this initiative.
